After getting hit in the head by a cork from a champagne
bottle, Norm indicates to Sam that he's fine.
Cliff knows better... |
No, wait a
minute Sammy, the primary symptom of postprandial trauma is the
blurring of the metatarsal...
(Sam: "Cliff,
shut up!")
Cliff: Oh, OK, I'll shut up, go ahead
and wallow in ignorance. You'd think we're reentering the dark
ages here.
Coach: Do we gain an hour or lose an
hour therefore?
The truth:
Firstly, Norm got hit in the head and the metatarsal is any of
the five long, thin bones in your foot.
Now, as for postprandial trauma, postprandial refers to the
time after any meal and trauma mean an injury, either physical
or mental.
As we never saw Norm eat before being hit we can't say whether
he was suffering from postprandial trauma or not.
